Ubuntu ne peut pas détecter le clavier Dell Vostro 1520
Problème
J'ai apporté un nouvel ordinateur portable Dell Vostro 1520 sans système d'exploitation installé. Lors de l'installation d'Ubuntu 9.0.4, le clavier ne fonctionne pas du tout, il s'agit d'un showstopper pour le processus d'installation. L'Ubuntu ne peut pas détecter mon clavier Dell vostro 1520.
Solution
1. Pré-installation ne fonctionne pas
Pendant l'écran principal d'installation d'Ubuntu, n'appuyez pas sur «entrer» ou choisissez aucune option, appuyez sur «F6» pour choisir «autre option» (votre clavier est toujours en mesure de taper), et vous remarquerez qu'une option de démarrage long est disponible pour vous modifier. Choisissez "Installer Ubuntu", modifiez l'option de démarrage et appuyez sur Entrée.

2. La post-installation ne fonctionne pas
Après avoir installé Ubuntu, vous remarquerez peut-être que peu de temps de redémarrage est nécessaire pour que le clavier fonctionne correctement. Certaines post-configuration doivent être effectuées dans ce fichier/boot/grub/menu.lst.
example@example-laptop:$ sudo vim /boot/grub/menu.lst
Ajouter les «i8042.reset i8042.nomux i8042.nopnp i8042.noloop» à la fin de la ligne kernal
